Breathwork is a 60 minute active meditation using a 3-part breathing pattern. This powerful class serves as a total body, mind and spirit “reset.” Most of us are carrying around years worth of pain, fear, trauma and negative beliefs that get stored in our bodies. Through focused intentional breathing, we are able to fully open up and release stagnant old energy and emotions. Benefits of breathwork include tapping into creativity and intuition, improving memory and focus, reducing stress and anxiety, and feeling a greater sense of connection and overall wellbeing. Teacher Bio:

Kathryn Nichols is a breathwork facilitator, energy healer and yogi-preneur. She has spent the past 6 years traveling the world, studying various healing modalities, cultivating her energetic gifts, and organizing retreats for renowned yoga and meditation instructors.

She first experienced the power of breathwork in 2014, in Koh Phangan, Thailand, where she was completing her 200 hour yoga teacher training. Her friends were talking about Daisy Kaye’s “crazy breathwork class” that they swore made them feel like they had taken LSD. Never one to pass up an experience, Kathryn decided to try the class. “WTF just happened?!” She came out on the other side of those 90 minutes feeling different. The endless string of thoughts that had plagued her for basically her entire life had shut off and she felt peaceful, blissful, WHOLE. How could something so simple be so powerful? This is the beauty of breathwork and this is why people keep coming back for more.

Since that first class, Kathryn has continued to turn to breathwork to help her navigate life's ups and downs. She's used it to heal from past traumas, and she's used it to feel more creative, happy and focused in her everyday life.

She has studied how to facilitate breathwork for individuals and groups with Gaia Ma and Jon Paul Crimi. The style that she teaches is called Conscious Connected Breathing, which she learned from Jon Paul Crimi. She’s passionate about sharing this work with her students and creating safe containers where they can go deep and have transformational experiences. The quality of your breath determines the quality of your life—it’s that simple!
