Intro To Yoga w/ Dayna Taus New to yoga? This is the perfect class for you! This class will walk you through the basics of asana (postures) with a focus on proper breath and alignment. We will move through a smooth practice while breaking down the functions of each posture.

All levels welcome.

BIO:
Dayna Taus moved to Bend in 2008 from Kailua, Hawaii.  She is a mom who loves spending time with her 2 daughters and husband. Dayna came to yoga with a background in gymnastics and a Masters degree in Sports Psychology. She is a competitive athlete striving to balance her life while practicing yoga, skiing, playing tennis, pickleball, cooking and being with her community.  Dayna fell in love with yoga in 1995. She began to study Iyengar yoga, which quickly led to Ashtanga. She now enjoys a regular practice of Ashtanga. She took Teacher’s Training in 1997 at Yoga Works in Santa Monica, CA.  Dayna studied under Chuck Miller, Maty Ezrati and Eddie Modestini. She has since taught many different styles of yoga over the past 24 years.  Dayna has a tremendous amount of gratitude for all of her teachers. She loves to work with beginners and she focuses on keeping her students safe.  When Dayna is not on her mat she is a practicing Therapist and College Counselor.
