Debate Watch Party hosted by SCOPAC

We believe informed voters are better voters and plan to host watch parties for as many debates as we can, on both sides of the aisle, starting with the next Democratic debate on Oct 15th, hosted by SCOPAC. The Strengthening Central Oregon PAC (SCOPAC) is a Community PAC supporting the candidates working to meet the essential needs of our communities. SCOPAC puts people first, working for candidates who have common-sense solutions to the pressing issues facing our community. SCOPAC works to recruit and mentor candidates from under-represented communities in politics and provides early campaign dollars and support like family meals, childcare and campaign strategy for our candidates.

We will have a quiet-watching room for people who want to actually watch the debate, and a talking room for people who want to offer their opinions regarding the debate. :)

This is a free event, and the first drink is being sponsored by The Haven. ($5/drink after that.) We will be ordering pizza and salad and you can contribute $10 if you want to eat dinner.

We will not be providing childcare, but this is a kid-friendly event. We will have some toys and a kids movie in a back room. Please ensure your kids do not disturb the serious debate-watchers in the Library. :)
