About this Event
This year's main stage TED Women event showcases the theme BOLD and BRILLIANT, which we will screen for our local audience. In addition, we will feature local panelists, discussion, our trademark Hydroflasks, and refreshment. We will screen fresh talks from the amazing speakers at TED Women (see program here.) Come to the amazing new space at The Haven to explore issues and solutions centered on women and girls. This is a small, intimate gathering for ALL as we enjoy provocative talks focused on issues impacting womxn everywhere.In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).
Schedule:
8:30am - Check-in & coffee
9am-12pm - Watch exclusive TEDWomen2019 videos
11am - Interactive singing experience with Shireen Amini
12-1pm - Blue Bite Lunch + conversation groups
1-2pm - Panel discussion with local TED speakers
2-3pm - Conversation reception with appetizers and open bar
